Post-future Bed
by Malabar
Contradicting some aspects of modernism, the Postmodernism movement re-establishes some of the ideas rejected by the modern aesthetic. Notoriously difficult to define, this elusive design style was a reaction against the utopian ideals of modernism. But in postmodernism, everything is a style statement, featuring vivid color, theatricality, and exaggeration. As if they had a blank canvas, Malabar designers let their imagination flow, influencing this future classic bed design. Strikingly handcrafted in walnut wood and upholstered in cotton velvet, this round bed was designed to make seamless artsy bedroom décor composition. Redefining how a bedroom can look, the Post-Future bed transforms a room from cozy to artsy.
