Interior Design Predictions for 2026
Where emotion, materiality, and identity take the lead.
2026 is about meaning, emotion, and material truth.
At Emotional Brands, we believe the strongest interiors Design Predictions are those that feel lived-in, intentional, and unmistakably human. Let’s design spaces that stay with us.

Color Pulls You Deep
In 2026, color is immersive, grounded, and emotionally charged. Palettes move away from lightness and toward depth and warmth, creating interiors that feel enveloping rather than exposed.
Expect to see tones such as Goldenrod, Tobacco, Muddy Olive, Bruised Plum, and Burgundy used not as accents, but as structural elements of space.
Within this artistic-flavored space, the Viv Id chaise longue becomes a canvas for artistic expression, transforming your living space into a curated gallery of breathtaking masterpieces. Dressed in coral jacquard, its melted gold brass structure gives the split-level aesthetic sense of deluxe while it can provide a functionality of a side table. This meticulously crafted chaise longue exudes a distinct aura of creativity, showcasing the harmonious marriage of form, function, and artistic ingenuity and belong to our Design Predictions.
The Lincoln Desk is an imposing and modern furniture piece which honors the renowned Lincoln Memorial. In 1922, the Lincoln Memorial Commission was created to oversee the construction of a memorial to the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. After a design competition, the commission chose architect Henry Bacon’s Greek temple design.
Inspired by such mark of a nation, Porus Studio created the unforgettable mid-century modern Lincoln Desk to dazzle in any contemporary home décor.
The glorious leather top features 2 drawers finished in lacquer, complementing the main structure in lacquered wood. The imposing legs of the Lincoln Desk are made with Stripped Estremoz marble, featuring brushed brass details. The mid-century modern desk is a must-have contemporary furniture piece for any luxury home décor.
Pattern Is Everywhere
Pattern returns with confidence and scale. Walls, upholstery, curtains, and even ceilings become canvases for visual rhythm.
This is not nostalgia. It is a pattern of identity.
James Boswell, the 9th Laird of Auchinleck, was a prestigious biographer and diarist. During the course of his life, James met an amazing number of the powerful of the literati, the philosophers and advocates of his time. Therefore, James, “the greatest biography written in English”, is best known for the brilliant biography he wrote about Samuel Johnson.
So honoring one of the best biographers of all times, Wood Tailors designers conceived the aesthetic James Bar Chair. Structured in oak finished with natural varnish and upholstered in bouclé, the James bar chair will create an atmosphere of sublime elegance.
White Isn’t Boring
White evolves into something warmer, more tactile, and far more nuanced.
Instead of stark, cold whites, 2026 favors complex off-whites inspired by Pantone references such as ivory, shell, chalk, and warm mineral whites. These tones respond better to natural light and interact beautifully with texture.
Professionally most known as Peggy Lee, Norma Egstrom had a successful six decades career, as talented jazz and popular singer, songwriter, and also an actress. Peggy’s vocal style provided a distinctive imprint to countless swing tunes, ballads, and big band numbers. Throughout her career, Peggy worked with an array of celebrated musicians and performers, including Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, and Ella Fitzgerald.
Ottiu designers conceived this dreamy curved armchair. All upholstered in trendy cotton velvet featuring lacquered feet, the modern mid-century-flavored Peggy Armchair embodies the Hollywood Golden Era sophistication with a comfy design.
An Armchair for Every Occasion
Seating becomes situational. Flexible. Emotional.
The Galatea armchair embodies this shift: sculptural yet welcoming, adaptable to private moments, social settings, or contemplative spaces. In 2026, armchairs are protagonists, designed for specific moods and postures.
Handcrafted with expertise by artisans, the Galatea armchair features an asymmetrical design composed by two different feet, a marble sphere and a rectangular walnut wood shape. There are infinite ways of customizing this future classic armchair. The result is breathtaking when the Galatea armchair is in the room.
Visible Textures
Materials like travertine, raw stone, and richly woven textiles take center stage. Texture is intentionally visible, celebrating imperfections, grain, and depth. These materials communicate authenticity and longevity.
The Henley side table set consists of three tables in different sizes and materials. Travertine is a type of limestone that offers a warm, earthy tone and natural veining, the walnut wood table adds warmth and texture to the design, while the brass table provides a touch of elegance and deluxe to the set.
